The Ronald L. Freeland Scholarship is awarded during COMTO Maryland's Annual Economic Development and Transportation Leadership Scholarship Luncheon. Next year's luncheon is currently scheduled for April 2027. Scholarship applications for 2027 will be available soon. Scholarships will be based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need and pursuit of a career in the field of transportation.
